I had a wonderful stay at Residencial El Hogar in Salta. Hector, the owner, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He provided us with great recommendations for places to visit and gave us helpful information about amenities in the area. the staff were all friendly and willing to assist with any requests, such as arranging a taxi to the airport. the room was clean and comfortable, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. the shared bathroom was always clean and available. the breakfast, although not included in our room rate, was definitely worth the extra $5. the location was convenient, with a short walk to the main square, cable car, and bus station. There were also nearby restaurants and bars that weren't overly touristy.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile to assist. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The beds were by far the most comfortable we experienced in all of Argentina, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The shared bathroom situation was a bit inconvenient, with only one bathroom for a large number of guests. the shower floor and curtain could use some improvement as they didn't prevent water from splashing onto the bathroom floor, making it quite wet and slippery.

The breakfast at this hotel was fantastic! They had a great variety of pastries, fresh fruit, ham & cheese, yogurt & cereal, and lovely coffee. The location of the hotel was also perfect - it was within easy walking distance of the bus station and town. Another advantage was the friendly and accommodating staff who made our stay enjoyable.

The cable car ride to San Bernardo Hill is only 300 meters away, perfect for burning off the croissants and caramel from the breakfast buffet.
Oh, and don't worry about leaving your credit card at home, because they don't accept them anyway. Who needs convenience when you can pay extra taxes in cash?

The room at Residencial El Hogar was a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring Salta. I loved the homey feel, with its tile floor and electric kettle. It even had a microwave, making it convenient for quick meals.
Personally, I didn't care for the cable TV in the twin room. But hey, different strokes for different folks!
